London's newest Indie Rock project, Nodaway, launch their new album 777 Seasons at The Waiting Room — one of the vibiest, best-sounding rooms in North London — for what's shaping up to be the best indie rock show in London this August.
While the last EP garnered 10M+ streams, Nodaway are back with a live-to-tape indie rock record cut just up the road at the legendary Konk Studios (Blocc Party, Franz Ferdinand, Foals, Sault). Born from a near-fatal crash and a string of adventures guided by the angel numbers 777, the new album boasts indie rock production, jazz-tinged chords, soaring vocals -recorded almost entirely live in three days: one room, no metronome. A defiantly human record in an AI age.
The live band is stacked with players from the heart of the underground London indie scene — drummer Tom Potter (Balu Brigada), bassist Kieran Jones (Dermot Kennedy), and guitarist Linus Taylor.
